new study reveals the "core-gasm” is no myth
When Arnold Schwarzenegger famously compared “the pump” with an orgasm in Pumping Iron, he couldn’t have known that more than 30 years later, science would actually back him up. According to a recent study, the phenomenon of women experiencing exercise induced sexual pleasure, or a full orgasm — completely absent of any sexual stimuli — is not uncommon.
The authors discovered a wide variety of activities associated with female orgasm, including bike riding, running, and ab training. Weight lifting was the activity most directly related to orgasm, as 26.5% of the 124 reported exercise-induced orgasms occurred during a weight workout.
The authors now aim to find out just how many women experience the phenomenon. In the meantime, it can’t hurt to take your lady friend to the gym with you.
