The biggest card in UFC history is finally almost here. After years of litigation and controversy, the UFC has made its way to Madison Square Garden, the worlds most famous arena. According to mmafighting.com, Dana White has already announced that UFC 205 has broken MSG gate records.
Fans are clearly amped for this epic night, but here is what some of the fighters of the night will be walking out to get them just as pumped. Judging by the mix of songs there is no one type of music that inspires these men to transform into gladiators in time they spend walking to the ring.

Jedrzejczyks mma record is perfect, and she is the UFC strawweight champ, eager to defend her title at UFC 205.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song Won’t Back Down is an obvious choice if you listen to the words. This is the type of fortitude Chris Weidman will need to bring to the ring after coming off of his stunning loss to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194.
Well this pairing is a hand in glove fit because of Donald Cerrones nickname “Cowboy Cerrone.” Cerrone likes to enter the ring listening to Cowboy by Kid Rock. Since the Cowboy moved up to 170 lbs he’s 3-0 and looking to continue the streak.

Notorious B.I.G.’s second appearance on the list goes to Frankie Edgar, this time with Kick in the Door. Although Edgar and McGregor couldn’t come to terms on a fight, they seem to agree on hip-hop music, specifically Notorious B.I.G.
Miesha Tate enters the ring with the ultimate female empowerment song, Roar by Katy Perry. Tate needs to bring that same aggression to the ring after coming off of a loss. Combine that with her opponent Raquel Pennington hunting down her fourth consecutive win, Tate has a lot to roar about.
Rashad Evans is one of the vets in the UFC, so it only makes sense that he walks to the octagon listening to two veteran rappers, specifically Busta Rhymes and Eminem on Calm Down. This song exudes energy, which Evans will need as he is desperate for a win coming off of two consecutive losses and several knee surgeries.

Ironically, the king of the welterweight division, Tyron Woodley, listens to a song titled King Without a Crown by Thi’sl. Clearly Woodley doesn’t feel entitled and is hungry to defend his belt against Stephen Thompson at UFC 205.
